Casey and Mary Claire Mulligan are members of the Colorado Bar Association, the Boulder County Bar Association, the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, the Colorado Women's Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. They have both been selected to represent clients through the Colorado Alternate Defense Counsel.
Casey Mulligan has lectured to other defense lawyers on the following topics: DUI trial strategy and practice, trial preparation, jury selection, opening statements, how to argue and win motions to suppress, suppression motions--strategy and practice, and cross-examination of expert witnesses. Casey is a Fellow of the Boulder County Bar Foundation.
Mary Claire Mulligan is a member of the Colorado Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice Probation Task Force. She was a panelist on local television's "Law and Justice: DUI," and is the author of "Jury Nullification: Its History and Practice," The Colorado Lawyer, December, 2004. She has also coached the Boulder High School Mock Trial Team and has lectured to other lawyers and to law students on the topics of DUI practice, criminal procedure and cross-examination. Mary Claire is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel in Colorado. She is also on the Policy and Training Committees and the Board of Directors of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and is a Fellow of the Boulder County Bar Foundation.
